I have wanted to do something about our kitchen cabinets since we
moved in. Most of the cabinets needed sanding and staining just from water damage or
old age. I serious HATE oak and since I just painted over our white bathroom cabinets, I wanted
to do the same in the kitchen.
Mark would not let me paint the kitchen cabinets. He thought it would look lame.
I was so scared to stain them....it seemed like such a BIG job.
I found a blog on Pinterest that showed exactly how to stain cabinets.
Even what kind of stain to use.
I bought the same exact stain off Amazon and tried it
out on the back of one of the cabinet doors.
First cabinet, I tried the stain on.

Now I am working on the cabinets above the stove. I ran out of stain and had to
order more off amazon. My Carpel Tunnel has come back with a vengeance from
all the sanding and staining. But it will all be worth it when it is done.

pictures when it is all done. I seriously LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how
these have turned out.
