Emily's Disneyland Trip

Happy Birthday

Emily!!!

This was Emily's birthday present, to go to Disneyland

with just Emily and Mommy.  It was so great spending one

on on time with Emily.  She is such a sweet girl.

It was hard to decide who was more excited about Disneyland, Mommy or Emily.

We got up at 7:00 am and drove to Disneyland.  We got there before it opened.

First ride...submarine ride.  I must really LOVE Emily

because I HATE this ride.  I get so claustrophobic on this ride.  I could barely

breathe and I was so glad when it was over. 

Emily brought spending money.  She wanted a Disneyland Hat.

She tried on a ton of hats but they weren't comfortable. 

This is the hat she chose...way cute.

Ugh....I dont care for the  tea cups ride either.

The closest we got to Mickey Mouse

Oh my gosh...this parade was so cool.  I havent seen a Disneyland

parade forever.  Usually, we use this time to get on rides.  It was so awesome though.

Emily has to do a California Report.

She is doing it on Disneyland.  She needed to take some pictures to use in her

report.

We were at Disneyland for 12 hours.  We were so tired by the time we started walking to

the tram.  When we finally got to the tram, they said the tram was down for 1/2 an hour.  We had to walk all the way to the car.  We thought we were going to die.  I kept reminding Emily of the Pioneers and how far they had to walk.  I don't think that helped.  

Overall, it was a GREAT day.  I love my Emily.  I cannot believe she is 10 years old already.  I wish we could go to Disneyland more often.  It was a fantastic day.
