My dad went to the doctors on March 18th for a massive headache. They
sent him home after giving him pain killers for a migraine headache.
He went back the next day because he knew something wasn't right.
They did a MRI and found a 4 centimeter mass on his brain.
We went and saw him in the hospital a couple times.
They removed the tumor about a week later.
They told him they after the surgery he might not be able to walk or talk.
A couple hours after the surgery he could talk and move his arms and everything.
We were so happy. They released him a couple days later from the hospital.
They were very confident they had removed the whole tumor.
They sent the tumor to see if the tumor was malignant or benign.
It came back malignant :(
He has Glioblastoma stage 4 cancer. They are doing chemo and radiation starting in May.
He talked to a cancer doctor a couple days ago and the doctor was pretty
confident he had removed the whole tumor. They are doing chemo and radiation as a precaution. The doctor said brain cancer wont go to any other part
of the body so he doesn't have to worry about that.
I like what it says on his shirt....he is so funny.
Of course, he is back to doing stuff around the house.
We feel so blessed that he is doing so well considering how bad this
could of been. We love him so much.
