Today is KAITLIN's 8th BIRTHDAY!!!!
YAY! It is finally here.
We went to grandma's house in the morning.
Our beautiful girl!
We love you so much.
Grandma got something for Kaitlin from the child-care.
Just before she gave it to her I told her to be happy about whatever it is.
I said she might not like the present, but pretend like she does.
She said okay! So my mom gave her the present and it was a Hannah Montana mp3 player.
She was so excited...she wanted one so bad.
After she opened it she told me..."You tricked me"!
Ha!
Mark got off work early and met us at Red Robin for her birthday.
The waitress's sang Happy Birthday to her.
And...gave her an ice cream.
She was so nice to share it with her sisters.
After Red Robin...Mark went home to get her other present ready.
I met up with Amy and her kids at McDonalds.
They gave Kaitlin the coolest gift...a Hannah Montana Doll.
Kaitlin and Sammy!
Emily and Tayler
At home, she opened all her presents. Grandma and papa sent her some coloring books.
Megan sent her a dolphin necklace. She was one happy 8 year old.
Then Mark handed her a envelope.
It said "Kaitlin, this year you have to look for clue's to find your present."
So she went from clue to clue looking for her present.
Here is one of the clue's in the BBQ.
She found her present. A Hannah Montana Bike!!!!!!
She wanted one soooo bad. She is so happy.
She said Thank You a million times.
Mark even found a cute purple bow to go with the bike.
Kaitlin's favorite color is purple.
She was so excited it was Hannah and purple!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Kaitlin!!!!
We love you!
On Saturday, I got up really early and made a cake. My parents were
going to come over Sunday for Kaitlin's birthday. So the cake was cooling on the stove and half-way through the day...Ashley destroyed it!!!!
I was soooo mad! I left Ashley at home with Mark while I went to Amy's for a playdate.
While I was gone Mark bought a pre-made cake and when he got home he fixed the cake. He cut it and frosted it. While I was gone I called my mom and she made a cake too. We didnt know Mark bought a cake. Anyways, this was the one (pictured) my mom made and Mark frosted it. It was good. We even let Ashley have some.
